Dieting and Healthy Eating

I have not been consistent on the blog as promised but i sincerely apologize. I am trying to schedule my time to at least one topic a week no matter how busy i can get.

i am not a weight loss expert or instructor but as a foody i have tips on the kind of food you should take to help watch your weight and most importantly eat healthy for you and your kids or loved one.

When we diet, we restrict our self to small amounts or special kinds of food in order to lose weight while healthy eating is a variety of foods that give you the nutrients you need to maintain your health, feel good, and have energy. These nutrients include protein, carbohydrates, fat, water, vitamins, and minerals. Nutrition is important for everyone

Most people think only Fat people should watch what they eat but No that is not how it works. No matter how skinny you are for healthy living reasons you should eat right and eat healthy.

Do you know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day? You all workaholics that skip breakfast lunch and have heavy dinner trying to combine all you have missed during the day. You are not eating right. I know for many people eating healthy is a chore when the world is full of glorious meals like the one we make at Apryl Place, convincing this kind of people to watch their eating habits is like depriving them of their Joy.

Have you ever heard the saying ' An apple a day keeps the doctor way’? Well fruits should be your best friend. Some of us do not take fruits (Guilty) some of us are very selective (guilty) then why not make smoothie. Sounds right yeah? Am talking about a cup of smoothie that has no alcohol or milk but pure blended fresh exotic fruits.

If we all live our life like pregnant women we will have less health issues. This is because we will watch what we eat, drink and take more of fruits like our life depends on it. Some of us only take fruits when we are sick recovering or pregnant.

i will drop a few hints here on what to eat and post more on our next post on Dieting and Healthy eating.

* Eat more of Fishes than meat

*  Eat more of Vegetables.

* Avoid starch - Yes, we cannot totally avoid this because 80% of our best meals are carbohydrates

* Live for fruits

* Live for Water

We will talk more about this on our next post . Remember the saying Health is wealth. Eat right

Aso Ebi Price Tag

 Hmmmmnnn... This is a very intresting topic i must say. As a yoruba girl. The word aso ebi means Cloths for Family i.e something that will distinguish family from visitors . Making the family members both nuclear and extended stand out in any ocassion. Suddenly, things changed and it became a general name for fabric sold out to people to wear to events. Weddings, Burial,house warming,birthday,Shop openings,Suprise parties and so on... There is nothing wrong with this though but the price tag on it is what boders me. Brides to be,or host of events and their families should always consider and remember people buy these fabric to show them they love them and are ready to celebrate with them or to be identified with them and not to put them in unnecessary expenses. This post is focusing majorly on brides to be so i will be dropping few points here alongside factors to consider when choosing or putting a price tag on aso ebi. As stated earlier, i personally have no issue with...
