Hello guys, happy new week.
Still my take on aso ebi prices. Aso ebi makes an event more beautiful and colourful but as we discussed in the previous post, here are some points i think brides to be and guests should consider.
Let me state here that it is not compulsory you sell aso ebi neither is it compulsory your friends or family buy. it is a choice right? Cool.
To choose your fabric and prices, brides to be should consider the buyer. We all have that friend, cousin/ family member that is not bouyant financially. So i will say know your circle.
* Brides, consider the pocket of your friends and family . If you know it will affect your pocket or bank account for some time,Aunty dont buy it is not by force.
* Dont hike prices so much that the gain incurred from the sales can pay for your wedding. Sister guest, if you know your way to eko market buy the type or colour and use funds left to buy them a lovely gift.
*Dont hate on that friend or family that says she has a similar colour and would wear what she has.
* Stop the no aso ebi no gift talk. Treat every one same. Share gift round in the party while you may have put another specially in the aso ebi pack before the big day.
* If your guest would be absent, dear bride you dont have to force her to buy unless she likes the fabric and would want it for keeps.
* If you dont like the fabric dont buy an aso ebi that you will not wear.
As stated earlier and in the previous post. I love aso ebi but the price hike and the attitude when you refuse to buy is what i frown at.
I hope i have been able to help a bride rethink or a confused guest make a decision.

Hi Jibola,
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, Aso-ebi colours add spice to the wedding aura.
Indeed, brides should also be considerate, because pocket capacities vary :-)
Personally, I'll only purchase aso-ebi if I genuinely love the fabric because I am an intentional shopper.
A very insightful post!
Thank you for your contribution Nedoux.
